Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do NOT accept insurance at this time; however, you may be eligible for insurance reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. If you would like to explore reimbursement from your insurance company, I will provide a “Superbill” (Statement for Insurance Reimbursement) on a monthly basis. The Superbill has the date of service, type of service (CPT code), your diagnosis code and the fee you paid. You can submit this Superbill to your insurance company directly. Ultimately, the decision to reimburse is up to your insurance company. Your insurance carrier may provide 20-80% reimbursement of your session fees. I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company and full fee is required at the time of each session.

Being an out-of-network provider allows:

  • Freedom for you to be in control of your care, including choosing your therapist, length of treatment, etc.

  •  Increased privacy and confidentiality (except for limits of confidentiality).

  •  Billing insurance requires an established mental health diagnosis on your medical record.

Recommended questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Does my plan cover outpatient therapy?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible?

  • Do I need prior authorization?

  • Does my plan cover remote therapy via video or telephone sessions?

  • How do I submit the Superbill my therapist provides me for reimbursement?
